Why do I love the northwest?
by SMG on Jan.31, 2009, under Site News
The people.
I love meeting new people, and the people I have met in the northwest are like no other community on this continent. It’s all about the karma system around here; “what goes around comes around.”
Last night Matt (aka tatmatt on the forums) came up to check out the clip and some other stuff from me, and he got a ride of from his friend Mark, who came with his R32 GT-R. I HAD to take some pictures:

very nice car
The northwest has everything for anybody. Mountains, Ocean, Desert, City, Rainforest and anything else that you can think of.
Plus, the weather is not on the extreme side like Alaska or Texas
Hey can anyone spot Mark, LOL. Nice shots.
LOL I found him!
wow... very nice skyline!
Yeah it is ok dont we all drive to get Jdm parts in a Jdm car then go eat sushi? thats how I roll at least
i love those cars so much
Yeah I love the NW too, it's the only place I can call home. But down round my parts it's hard to find real down ass people who are cool, I mean I don't know hardly anyone that likes Hondas as me.I don't have no crew, though I wished I did, that I roll with. And the ones I deal with, trade and sell parts with, are pretty arrogant, rich fucks who has daddy pay for their shit that I don't consider friends. Or they are pretty two faced. I've been ripped off by a small handful of bithces that I wrenched with a while back I thought were my friends. I trusted em, for instance this one guy i fronted out a tranny, some side skirts and a rear bumper to so he could get this car completed cause he had it sold to someone after those parts were put on.he said within the week he would have the parts installed and the car sold which then he was gonna pay me back 500 bones from the sale. I figured sure cause I didn't think he would burn me, I worked on his car a few times and he paid me, we traded parts, I thought we had a good relationship, we got along pretty good. So my dumbass never wrote up an agreement or anything for the deal, I jus took his word for it. But a week went by and he just kinda stalled, 2 weeks , a month , same shit then his phone got turned off. I never knew where he lived so I couldn't roll by his pad and collect, but I know he lived in this small hick town near where I live. Last I heard the little bitch moved up to Gresham, but its all good. Its a small world I'll run into him again and I'll get mine with interest. But besides people like that there's a lot of Meth heads around here too, that like to jack cars. Lots of people come from outta town to rip off cars. Shit I've gotten 2 cars stolen from me and 3 stereos jacked all from different cars. Its just hard for me to trust people these days. But hey its where I call home, it's all I got. But then I meet people ,like from here on the forum and my feelings have started to change and feel more open like I once was. I love it here, it's where I go to hang with people I'm startin to consider friends.
You see the thing is I am from South Philly and I am Dego if you don't know what it means look it up. The people that where born in the Northwest have no Idea what that have here. The Delaware River which runs thru Downtown Philly ( you know the one Washington crossed ) Is so poisonous that they advise you to wash your hands if you come in contact with the water. They are dredging it and the silt is treated as toxic waste. Every thing has graffiti all over it. It is so beautiful here I still cannot believe the mountains. People here are Ok, But I honestly think most guys are pussified now I am not trying to be a dick . Most guys here wouldn't know a hard days work if it bit them in the ass. They don't know how to treat their women and generally let themselves get walked on. Well I digress I m an asshole and I stand by what I said if you are bother by what I said and you are a guy then quit being a pussy. I like the Islands and the sound I am really impressed with that amount of work people in the PacNw put into the environment and recycling. It does make me mad when I go for drives in the back country and see some scumbag with a bunch of shit in their yard just soiling the environment that is what I meant when I said people don't know what they have here.
yeah we do got some nice scenery round here. Thanks to all the enviromentalist tree huggers !
Yeah but they still get on my nerves with all there bullshit. It gets old ya know

His daily driver 370 whp Sil80 sorry Timon
Holly crap, nice rolling shot. And nice car. I haven't seen that car :P I've seen his Skyline before. Mark should sign up here.
Hell yeah that's a sweet pic, and badass ride.
We had just finished it up in time for the Nasioc mountain loop run a few weeks later. The lower oil line was sheared off and the motor pulled a death star. We procured the motor from little rob's white s14 and it is now back on the road. for those that dont know there is a big suprise under that hood now
oh and the other car in the stable is just a lowly GC8 ......with a gt30r was a centerfold in Subiesport a few months back ....and a 280z in the process of getting a SR transplant
i like the NW because i like the idea of having four real seasons... (in theory at least)
thanks for all of the comments and compliments, guys!
I'm glad I could spark thoughts and conversation.
wow
I like reading these little updates.
Keep it up, they're good!
