all the interior plastic looks like it would be easy for an inexperienced carbon layer for me to replicate, that would be pretty sick

i can see if we have any extra paint at school for cheap. i know he sold a gallon of lavender for 40 bucks not to long ago. then we can paint inside if we want

insides gonna be carpet, easy and looks good, also easy for installing accessories into the walls

i will have one of my 17's we can have when i get a new one. its bent and chipped from my hammer becuz i was in the middle of nowhere and had to make it hold air. i think if we can use it as a table of some sort it would look cool. even if we cut it in half

yea, we will set in all the accessories, tv, stereo, blender, then carpet around it. maybe to all the plastic paneling in carbon. but we have a small budget, so the carpet will be the easiest for the clean look. im thinkin the whole stereo will be alpine, powered mids and highs, then two type r 15s should suffice without being rediculous

i say right now on the stereo we put in what we can afford right now. but make sure everyone agrees on it and is willing to pitch in on the cost. if its a group van we need to agree on every mod to it. the majority vote wins. thats my opinion that way we dont have fights over someone paying there part but not agreeing on the mod becuz one person decided it

oh totally, but we have to plan everything before we do a single thing to the interior, no sense installing the system if we just have to move it to make room for something else. i was thinkin the way the front seats sit ill make a box for the two 15s to go under them and have the ports be between the seats. thats really the only place we can mount and subs without it being in the way. i was also thinking of having components hanging like on outboard boats, a set behind the front seats and a set next to the back doors, so we can swivel them outward when the doors are open. but all we can afford right now is to clean it out, prep it for the interior structuring, and get it actually running. if i can fix the tranny issue it used to have, we should just do a five speed swap, fuck autos!

^^^my stereo guy has these sub boxes for 10's that are built to make them hit like 15's...i could probably get them for dirt cheap.

no ten could ever hit like a 15. but we gonna make all our own stuff, plus the box has to be completly custom to fit right. there is literally no room besides the area where to front seats to sit to put in a box. and i wont have it lookin ghetto just cause we could get somethin for cheap, the van will be ashow car by the time its done

they are actually nice boxes, i can get them cheap becuz he shut his shop down and they are taking up space in his storage. ill probably buy them and put my 3 10's in them.

im sure they are nice, but the subs are gonna need to be molded in to take up as little space as possible

plus, makin your own box is the cheapest way to go

yeah do u know the formula to figuring how big of a box we need? most people just build a box the fits or they like an 90% of the time the box either has to much airspace or to little airspace so the sub wont hit as hard

there isnt really a formula, it all depends on the sub. there kinda is, but it depends on how you want it to sound and the specs on the sub. for example a type s 12 needs 1.5 cubic feet will a type r need 2.4-2.7. then again my 300w 15 needed almost 4 cubic feet. but i do know how to do it all, i know stereos very well my friend
