I figured I'd post the Accord I scored a while back.
Well the titles not in my name nor do I drive it or anything but I still call this 91 Accord mine, why cause i do all the maintenance and basic up keep for it and found it and wheeled n dealed it . It's my first CB7 I've really ever worked on, I've done some wrenchin on 94-96 Accords and a lot mor on the 86-89 Accords but not the 90-93 platform, so its been a learning experience so far.
Well here's the short story about it so far , I recently found this 2 door ,unfortunately automatic ,91 Accord for my mom as a DAily D here a few months back for 900 bucks. Of course I wanted a 5 spd , cause there's less electrical BS and easier to work on, but She wanted an auto so that's why its not a 5 spd oh well though. Plus's about the car when purchased was dude first wanted 15 hundred but I jewed em down to 9 bills, not bad I think, it has a clean title, straight body, after market wheels (nothin great)with 60 percent tread on tires, decent interior, most all electronical functions still in good working order, no check engine lights, decent shocks n struts, but all most 275 thousand miles on the ODO on original motor. I figured it was a good deal for the price so picked it up.
So far I've done a bit of wrenchin to it,
changed timing belt/water pump, crank, cam, distributor, engine side cv axel seals,
all belts,
New battery
fuel filter,
oil pan gasket,
changed all fluids including brake, power steering, coolant, transmission,
drained out and cleaned the fuel tank of all the aged build up from all crappy gas and rust and what not,
changed spark plugs(of course), plug wires,
air filter,
upper n lower radiator hoses,
A few other various hoses n lines,
thermastat,
O2 sensor,
frt brake pads,
installed CD player,
replaced passenger side power window guides slide thing,
driver's side CV axel,
did a valve lash on her,
replaced power lock control box(didn't work when purchased), replaced missing door bumper guard,
replaced passenger side side mirror,
cleaned up and painted valve cover, and a
lot of cleaning and scrubbing type shit, it was pretty trashed and the previous owners were smokers. But it cleaned up pretty good I think, still needs some more odds and ends shit like various interior pieces, new power antenna, that piece of exhaust that connects the header to cat, muffler, needs a wax REALLY BAD,needs new trunk spare tire cover piece ,and so on.
So sorry if I'm bording you ,but I posted up some pics for you all to see what I'm ramblin on and on about. nothin special but a good deal
Well ENJOY!! ;-)
