jdmjonny...haha he has a crx not dsm...my gf was takin the pics and she was freezing so that prolly didnt help the blurriness

im buying a festiva. they cannot possibly go fast period. i was on nw bullivard/ seltice driving home from post falls and this red late 90's camaro pulls up next to me and starts reving his motor. i was thinking no. not me, im pending two speeding tickets, cant do it. so he starts pointing. and trying to race me. i say fuck it, in the middle of nowhere, cant see any cars anywhere, why not. well i beat him and took it up to somewhere around really fast, 4th gear i think. he catches back up when i slow to 45 and says, hey nice car, then takes off down one of those roads. in my rear someone is hauling ass over the hill and slams on the brakes behind me, yes, red and blue. im going to jail. cops asks how fast i was going. i said i dont know and he said "neither do i, you pulled away from the laser around 65." long story short, cop cars can fly and they follow us without us knowing, im putting my car on blocks, and finding a festiva. oh and im currently pending 3 speeding tickets at 280$ and the other two are for doing under 10.

Yeah the bastard got me doing 62 in a 45 for the sweet price of :shock: 140.00 dollars :shock: . Weird thing is i was really doing like 68 cuz when i look at my speedo i was doing 65 and the new tires throw it off by 3 so something is fucked up but either way that sucks for both of us! Ill still give ya a ride to the meets and shit dom.!

at the spokane raceway this fall, a festiva....aka "Fastiva" was runnin 12's i believe...or faster...i cant remember exactly, but i do know they can be quite fast!! lol

that was the gray festiva right? if so i know that car... it has a 2.0 liter motor and turbo, with as much weight out of it as possible... he repainted it in oct. and sold it to his brother

There were two of them. A "silver" one and a red one. Both on nitrous, I think. I have a bad cell phone pic of one of them. Stripped interiors FTW.

the 88 "fastiva" used to be red and black then it was primer grey now it is mirage ice with red fantom racing stripes, it has a 1.6 b6t pushing 17# of boost and has no spray. 173 hp at the wheels and 187 pound feet of torque. with aluminum dash custom gauges and leather racing seats. it has pulled a best of 13.4 @106 but that was spinning tires all through 2nd and part of third if we could hook the tires up i think we could get in the low 12s. I am looking for a standalone system bigger injectors and racing slicks. if you want to see a vid it is on youtube under fastiva. festivas can be fast and fun. nothing is better than shuting down a new gto or corvette in a total shitbox.

car weighs 2250, running a 420A D4RE in my neon, stock motor with a bunch of bolt ons, and dont know my times

well I am still getting 24-29 mpg and I might be tipping the scale at maybe 1200 lbs. so hp per pound is off the hook.
would it bother you if i told you i am running no boost and still hittin the same numbers pretty much, 170/150
It doesn't matter how much power your putting down, I mean a lot of big RVs are pushing 300hp and 500tq and they can't pull a 13 second qtr mile. It's all about the power to weight ratio.

But there's a ton of Supras putting down 1000hp who are still running 12's. Gears are important too. This is hilarious. The on-board is incredible:
