View Full Version : Are you cooking for Thanksgiving?
I have a turkey on the bbq smoking right now...6 hrs of smoking then into the oven tomorrow morning....yummmmmmm
anyone else cooking?

heck no dude. i am driving 400 miles to go eat at my grandparents. best dang meal of the entire year. so u smoke it then cook it? hmmmm sounds pretty good.
smoke it then ill bring it back up to temp in the oven tomorrow...that way it is fully cooked and still very very juicy

We're going over to a friend's cabin out the road in Juneau, Ak for Thanksgiving, and he has 115 stairs going up a mountain to his place.
Gonna have lots of fun carrying dinner up that. :)

hope it doesnt snow or anything cause that would suck if you like slipped and fell down! damn i would buy an escalator!!!

Haha, well he's pretty damn handy with tarps, and has the entire thing covered! FTW.
Right now it's just all rainy. Blah.
And he lives like 10 miles off the grid! Pretty gnarly, a true manly man living in the forest, in a house he built himself.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, we had two of them.. But I think i'm pretty full for awhile, and done with champane for awhile to... haha :D
