To do oversized valves or not? Thats what Im stuck trying to decide. I guess really wondering if its worth porting the head again cause now Im running out of money on the build. Lot of you guys know my build so far. What you all think?

Well oversized valves would be nice, but the price to get some hith quality ones, then have your head re- machined to have it fit them valves, you could be lookin to spend another 1000-1500 bucks in parts and labor. Isn't oversized valves better for NA built engines to increase airflow in n out or the combustion chamber? and since ur goin turbo charged will it increase HP gains that much? I'm not positive so don't quote me on this shit but if it were me I'd stay stock sized. On my build I'm just using a set of balanced and blue printed type-R valves, but that's jus me :-D

thats what i was thinking too. I know it helps greatly on NA builds, but dont know on boosted

when my buddy did it on his D16Y8 he only saw a gain of a couple HP. Not really worth the money IMO.

IMO oversized valves are for a max output motor, so if your trying to get the best 1/4 mile time on a track only car, 1mm oversized exaust and .5 intake with a 3 angle will help the turbo spool a little better. but if your driving your car on the street i wouldnt worry about it. instead of spending 500-1000 to get oversized valves just turn the boost up a #, cause thats the difference. IMO

Yeah I wouldn't do it, you probably got a ton of other places you could be usin that money towards your build up. Not to go off topic ,but are you plannin on gettin bigger aftermarket axels to support all the power 4 ur set up?

Yeah, a LSD would be a sweet upgrade. One wheel burn outs aren't too cool.

2 wheel Honda burnouts are the best

both of mine spin and i have no lsd? well technically i dont but both wheels spin. unless the previos owner spent 1200 on the one and only quaife and put it in. but very unlikely since it only had a cai and oil/volt piller gauges. then again it could have been an autox car where cai and lsd are still allowed in the class.. i dont know whatever
