YES!!! We can buy a number and keep it all year! Last year, I got 302, one night. Wished I could have kept that one, even though I have a 4.6, at least it keeps with the theme of the Mustang.

Man, that sucked.

I couldn't hook up at all and it just got worse as the night wore on. I wonder how long the track takes to "break in"?

I'm really glad there is a track and we all got to go and enjoy it but wow, traction was all over the place and the time clock seems a bti off. Or my car and everyone I know's cars got about half a second or more, slower over the winter. :(

By the end of the night, I was cutting 2.44 second 60' times. Insanely slow. I have never been that slow, even on stock tires.

By 9:45, I couldnt' get out of the 14 second range at barely over 100 MPH. That's slower (according to the clock) than I was stock, also.

Dismal.

I was talking to some of the other guys and at least I'm not the only one with these problems.

That was embarrassing. I could see half a second slower times, in the beginning, as I get used to racing again, after the Winter but a full second? And so slow? And the 60'? When I do the math, that's where my problem was.

Every 1/10th of a second in the 60' equals about 2/10ths in the 1/4 mile. I was half a second slower on my 60' times, so to be a whole second slower, at the finish, makes sense. It just sucks so much ass.

Here's some other's experiences too:

I apologize to all the people who wanted to go out and have a great time, their first time out. Track conditions sucked but I am told they will improve through the season.

Wow shitty deal. So I guess braking anything because of TO much traction wont happen huh lol

Yeah, there was no chance of breaking anything unless you softened it up first. It was very disappointing but hopefully everything gets better in the coming weeks.

i only saw two cars break... one blew his tranny after a motor build, and the other blew his top end on boost... BOTH HONDA
