Anyone got any engine swap plans for their car?

I already have my swap, but I was thinking about doing another one.

I'm thinking about doing a CRX H22 build. A H22 in a CRX HF would scoot. It's probably not going to happen until next summer. I'm doing allot of research and pricing on it.

As far as swaps go I'm getting ready to throw an sr20det in the s14.

i would like to encourage members doing swap's in the future to do a write-up on it and post it in the swap section.

if i do my swap this winter ill make sure to write it up. i might just right up my whole whole project...from sand blasting to show quality.

I'm still debating if I want to go 20 valve or 1.5jz in my Corolla. My decision changes every hour LOL.

In my 240sx? Nothing haha, had a mostly stockish ka24de with 120k or so on it. Had the water pump bearing die on me, threw in a brand new pump and what do you know...bad seal on it.

Overheated the car and blew the hg, possibly warped the aluminum head (iron block ftl). Pulled the head to do the hg (obd2 manifolds are a pos on the ka btw) and wow what do you know, broken intake cam (a bolt was holding it together before lol). So pulled the tranny and block out and sold them to a buddy for his boost build and have been trying to save for the sr.

Still want an rb26dett eventually but after I got laid off that plan went in the shitter lol.

I have a te72. If I do the JZ swap I'm not sure what I would even do with the car LOL.

that really sucks.

A RB26DETT would be the best engine. It's on the heavy side but the power is amazing.

I have a te72. If I do the JZ swap I'm not sure what I would even do with the car LOL.

Its been done at least with ae86 i know of. radiator support has to be moved about an inch forward. As cool as it would be...1UZ is better choice for more than 4cylinder power. Something I wanted to do but 3sgte came along before 1uz ever has come available...best is a wrecked ls400 newer than '92
