This will encompass a log of how I retrofitted my headlights. Yes these are real projectors with a real HID setup. Not that fake purple HID kit you buy on eBay.

OEM A6 4300K
Projectors (2 3/4in)
Ballasts
Ignitors
Phillips D2S Bulbs

Bezel and Housing will be:
Wal-mart Coffee Mug Chrome Bezel
Home Depot Stove Drip Pans (To keep light from escaping! That's baaad!)

I will be retrofitting them into my 92-93 JDM Headlights. Today I got them, already painted the back of the projectors flat BBQ black! They look much better already! I also hooked them up for some tests cause I was curious if everything worked since I got it for such a low price. Here are the results.

Okay, in these next pictures the sun is going down. So, I am happy with the light output as it was still VERY light out and the cut off is very faint.

The light output compared to my stock lighting.

And my bezel and housing idea (thanks to members of HID planet):

So, I went outside today and took some better shots of the cut off. I am in love with HID's already. The yellowish light is from my other lights, since I ghetto rigged it to one of my high beams, you can just tell how much brighter it is :)

I also took some shots at different angles, you can see the glare, when aimed properly there will only be glare to the right from the passenger projector to light up where kids/animals might come running into the road at night :P

Looking straight at the projector above the cut off:

Looking in or below the cut off:

Note: these are only 4300K (keep in mind that's as bright as the sun, small hint of blue at cut off)

Picked up a flange from Lowes for my bezel:

Fits like a GLOVE.

Also, make sure to get a really good seal when you glue the headlight assembly back together. If not, you will have condensation in there.
