Some of my little work.
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/Accordwithunpaintedsideskirts.jpg
I had to fabricate the side skirts on, then I had them professionally painted by Nancy's.

Here's my back bumper, I mended a pretty big crack (I didn't make it! Previous owner.), then I had it professionally painted by Nancy's.
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/DVC00189.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/DVC00190.jpg
Ouch, this is how it was when I bought the car.
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/DVC00191.jpg
Then I sanded it down best I could.
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/DVC00195.jpg
Put a bunch of Bondo on it.
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/DVC00197.jpg
Sanded that down as much as possible to keep the crack structurally strong, and as smooth as possible so it wouldn't look 'bad' when painted.
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/DVC00200.jpg
Then I masked it off and spray painted it... Just temporarily so it wasn't hardcore obvious.
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/DVC00203.jpg
Finished, I have since had Nancy repaint it GOOD, one thing she did though is sand it down more, so it's not as strong as I wanted it, but oh well. Looks good and you can't even really tell, check the pic of it up top as the final product. Sorry I don't have a close up.

Here's a little fun:

I've had this car for a year now, and just to get it out of the way, I paid for it totally through hours and hours of working while going to school. So I do respect it a lot. This is my 2nd car now, my first was a '93 Nissan Sentra that I finally sold to someone down my street, and they let their kid fucking destroy it. Which sucks, but I sold it, it's their's so oh well. I also have a '91 Ford Festiva (I know, lol, get it out of your system, haha.) that's my winter car, I don't have any good pics of it yet though. It's in good condition, mmm.

Mostly I've just been fixing all the bad things about my Accord. There was quite a bit of damage. I've replaced the side skirts, refitted the front bumper, fixed/painted the back. I cleaned the engine bay up nice and keep the interior and exterior clean. I removed these little blinker add ons on the side mirrors, new tires, took out the aftermarket tach. Added projector headlights, HID's, painted the chrome trim around the windows myself, shittily tinted the back windows too. I've been meaning to redo them, but I haven't had time, haha. I'll probably do them all again this winter, and have the back window professionally tinted if Import ever gets their tint guy in.

I know this car isn't good for performance really, so mostly I've just been focusing on the show of it. Making it look nice. This winter (winter of '08), I plan on doing a few easy mods to the engine though; i.e. intake, headers, etc.

Any comments or questions, feel free to post! Thanks for checking it out, y0.

I'm not one for bodykits, but.. I think it looks slick. I'm a sucker for gold wheels  Very clean. I'll respect the V6, haha.

Thanks. I've tried to keep it as clean as possible, less flair. When I put the new skirts on I got a pair that were smooth, such that they blend in vs. the ones before that had these vents and stuff. I'm looking into a new front though, since this one's got a few chips in in it... curbs. Ehh.

stock with lips???

MetaEnder

Was that a suggestion, or a question? Heh.

Question: Nope, it's a full bodykit.

Suggestion: I could, but since I've already got the aftermarket back bumper, I'd rather just get a new front instead, that way I can get it to match more. *shrugs* I've still got the old bumper, but it's pretty bashed up from storage unfortunately.

i helped him clean this bad boy up...its came far in a short time. i wired the headlights for halos anbd LED's and his HIDs, and i helped with choosing clean skirts, and have been helping with finding a clean front bumper, i told him he should order the JDM civic foglights and fab them into the gap in his bumper.

MetaEnder

I might still do that, BUT if I do buy a new bumper, I wanna make sure they'd still have a place to go, otherwise I'll probably just get some spherical ones like usual.

What up Zach? Thanks for the invite. And damn sweet ride, I didn't expect it to look like that when we first met up. You didn't post up what type exhaust your running, looks like a pair of Greddy Evo2's pokin out the rear. Yeah I use to like body kits and all but I started to hate doin body work when the shit gets crunched for some lame reason and having to spend a weekend fixin it cause when that shit starts crackin it doesn't really stop. Fiber glassin and bondoing it and putting to much shit on so you have spend. Twice as long sanding it back smooth. Then u fuck up and sand too much and have do it all over again cause ya just flatten a damn crease line r something. Yeah I've learned the hard way, trial and error. But at least you learned and know what to do when it happens next time cause unfortunately it will.

sounds like the car has come a long way it also sounds like it was semi-riced out before you got it but you have turned it into a nice clean car. like it has been said before i am not normally a fan of body kits but you made it look nice and clean so i respect that.keep up the good work.

Thought sbout gettin one of these for a bit to boost the V6 and do a 5spd swap. Not much for the kit or the headlights, but keep up on it! Not enough ppl build these...

Didn't even realize people had commented on this. Ha. Yeah, I've done some more work, so hopefully I'll get a chance to post up some documentary style pics!

Thanks dude, yeah it was a POS when I got it unfortunately, and I was too stupid to know, since this was before I knew much about cars. Since then I've grown to like it as much as I can, and have been working to make it look nice since it's what I've got.

The body kit's in relatively good shape, no damage that is obvious, so that's a plus for me getting it from the guy who had it before me.

Plus I had the entire thing repainted after I bondo'd a bit, and replaced the sh*tty side skirts.

Trying to go clean.

Wow sounds EXACTLY like that situation I got in lol. That does look really clean I am working on de-ricing my car and cleaning it up.
I have the same bumper and its cracked I am trying to repair it.

Yeah dude, the guy seemed like he slapped on a body kit, and really didn't put the money into it that he should've right up front.

It was rattle canned, luckly I was able to salvage most of it, side skirt fitment was just horrible, so I ditched them and modded my own out.

It's got a pretty heavy "ricer" look to it, so all of last summer was spent making it look as clean as possible, as well as nice and working. That way I could gain a little more respect!

One day I'll get an even newer car, with no previous mods and start everything from the beginning! That'll be really cool.

looks clean.

I really love that red color

Yeah me too, it's San Marino Red. I'd like to have the exterior redone, but paint jobs are so expensive. :(
