Just ordered blackout taillights for the Mustang.

I drew the line at blacking out the headlights and driving lights as well. Maybe someday.

The windows got tinted this winter so it should look just about exactly like the one on the bottom. I also have no spoiler.

Shipped yesterday :)

Someday, I'll check with Body by Scotty to see how difficult it would be for them to remove the whole badge/fake gas cap, on the rear and just make it smooth all the way across. I'll have to take a pic and see if I can black it out to see, before I make an ugly mistake.

Yeah, all I can do is work with what I have [sigh].

Someday, I hope to have a garage floor that can take the weight of a Magnum. :lawl:

You should get the Roush style progressive blinkers. I always like those.

Ka-cha! I think it was my fourth mod. S'posed to be either an option or standard on the 2010. Nice and retro, even though the Mustang never had it. The Cougar did. I see old people digging on it (in the rearview)and teen-20's. Not so much in between.

I always watch in the mirror to
1. make sure the guy behind me is going to stop and
2. Watch people work out my license plate. :)

It sucks it has a key hole in the badge. Because it is most likely glued on so removing it wouldn't be to hard and if you didn't like it you could just use new double side tape to put it back on

Yeah, the badge is supposed to some off easy. I want the whole thing gone though. The key has never worked in the trunk anyway so....

The flash reflects off the inside of the light fixture making it red.

I'm thinking of taking a razor blade to the little GTS thingies. They are not that cool looking and the one on the left it slightly off plumb. That'll be the one to go.

The brake lights are on!

LOL! I'll see what I can do. I'll get a pic with the headlights on and the brake lights. When I checked to see what the hazards looked like it was pretty vivid. Definitely "on".

Still waiting for the video to "process", in HD, on YouTube. I'll see if it makes any difference, with my crappy camera. It takes great audio, not so much video.

Should have called it an "audio camera".

Has turn signals, brakes and headlights in daylight. The center brake light is not tinted.

Washed and waxed the car, for the show tomorrow. Neighbor came over and drooled on the car and asked if I knew of any good muffler places or car shops. Heh heh... DO I? He just moved here from Montana.

As I was finishing up, two kids went by on bikes and one shouted "Sweet Mustang!"

I love that. Once it's all polished it looks so good, even I like it, after all this time.

I saw pinstriping on a DelSol... was that you? I was squinting, thinking "Isn't that guy from Montana?"

look good.

I spent some fingernail time yesterday afternoon and peeled off the port-side GTS stickers because they were not put on parallel to the ground. Now that's quality.

The starboard-side ones are not bad so I left them alone, for now.

I had the blackouts on for about 12 hours before someone commented on them :)

Naturally the car was all cleaned and waxed right before we got the rain yesterday. Never fails. I don't need to water my garden at all. If I need water, just wash the car and it will rain for days.

I have no pinstriping. I have some bad ass steel rims.

I actually don't mind when it rains after I seal and wax my car. I get to see how ridiculously awesome the beading is and laugh at the water's futile attempts to stay on my car.
