I ordered a Hurst shifter $190
Drive shaft loops $230
ZEX 75-175hp kit $530
Window switch $160
Blow down tube $53
Chrome moly Panhard rod to replace the one I accidentally beat on with my floor jack.
I figure the tune/time will run me about $80-100 and a bottle-full of nitrous will be $35, then another to replace the one I use up, at the dyno.
I think I figured I get about 10 1/4 mile races to a full bottle. So that's about $0.10 in fuel and $3.50 and nitrous, every ten seconds.
Looking for about 370-425hp and 480-520tq. That's more hp and torque than a 2009 6.8L Triton V10. More than the old turbo, Powerstroke diesel I drove for work, towing heavy equipment around the East coast. That was 200hp and 400lbs.ft.tq., IIRC.
Damn, I need to go change my pants now. All those sexy abbreviations.
I'll need to learn not to shit myself when the tires are spinning into fourth, at 110MPH. I want to be crossing the line, well into fourth gear, instead of the top of third.
