ok well my battery is just about toast after five years, i have an interstate battery in my honda and i have a powerful stereo system.
so i was thinking about getting a new interstate or an optima, what do you guys think is some of the better batteries out there?

i have an optima in both the echo and the jeep... the jeep only gets started once a month, and starts EVERY time that i want to use it... i have not had a problem with the echo and any battery issues since i put it in, and i can sit there with the stereo running and not worry about getting the car started again...

Are you sure it's your battery going dead? It could be your alternator since you have a big system.

I would buy a high output alternator while your buying a battery, because of the big system

Well if your strapped for cash the best place to score a battery is your local junkyard. Just pick one from a wrecked brand new car and for like 10-15 bucks, well that's what they've charged me from my local yards. And when you round up the funds score yourself a yellow top optima, you won't regret it.

Then I'd pick up an Optima if I were you, that's a great upgrade and adds a little bling under your hood :-D

Optima's are a big fat joke. Dont waste your money.

Odessey's are the way to go. :)
