Both these cars belonged to the same person, so I just planned on spending the day out at his house getting them done!

The truck was up first. I didn't take many pictures of the process because it's pretty much the same thing over and over, so I'll stick to mostly before/afters

Thanks for looking! The customer was very pleased and will be calling me back to maintain them, and do his boat once it's out of storage!

I think you have the best job in the world. This just looks like fun.

It really is more fun now. I only do it on the side to supplement my full time job. The extra monies for my car will be nice once I get everything I need for detailing. Made enough in the last week to go pick up an AMAZING polisher tomorrow, have a Steamer on the way. I'm pretty stoked about it right now -- things have been going much better than they were when I wasn't working for myself.

The thing that really makes it all worth it is the look on the customer's face when they get it. When I was doing dealership cars, I never really got the satisfaction of knowing I did a good job other than knowing myself that I do good work. Having the instant gratification of the owner seeing the car and being absolutely stunned is what keeps me doing this. I had a lady who had NEVER washed or waxed her car (Kia Optima) and she was speechless when I had her come look at it. She's a customer for life and will be paying me to maintain it monthly now.

It's been so awesome these last few weeks.

Yeah, I had him whip something up -- dunno if I need it or not yet. Still thinking about it/weighing cost:benefits and all that. :P
