One of my best friends has a 1991 VR4 also. I have worked on it a ton. Yes they are AWD. My buddies is about 400hp. Its STUPID fast.

Factory is 190hp at the crank, mine isn't ready to see the dyno yet, still got a ways to go. It's a 4G63T AWD, also need to upgrade the 3 bolt rear diff still to an LSD or 4 bolt LSD. For those that don't much about these cars, these were the predecessors (Evo Zero) to the Lancer Evolution as Mitsubishi's Rally car and the first to use the DOHC 4G63 motor and later turbo. There were only 3000 imported here between 91-92 and pre date the dsms (been around since 87'). dsms were based off the galant platform.

Got my single bulb corner lamps couple days ago along with my turbo. The rest of my parts will arrive around the 12th. Rewiring the corners to work as turn signals was one of the easier tasks I've done.

Damn man that front bumper looks way better without the bubble wrap. LOL.
I see what you mean now about the center section. No one will notice that huge radiator you have.

It's great since no cutting is required to fit the intercooler, slides right over with ease.

Big 16g finally on now. My Evo3 Big 16g siezed up and blew apart the center section so I had to get a new one.

Time for a transmission rebuild and finding a new DD, preferably a truck. 5th went out a few weeks ago, then followed shortly be Reverse. Trying to shift into 5th is never going to happen anymore. Oh well, called up English Racing today, just have to save up some cash now.

1600-2100 be about the equivalent setup to a Shep stage 3, of course I'll need a 4 Spider so that always jacks any price up too. Aaron said that if any parts of the old components are still usable for say other transmissions, then they will give credit towards my build. Something about since I have an out of state license, i can void off WA gay taxes.

This car is really just a over sized paper weight in the garage now waiting for me to find the time to haul it off the to the crusher.
