With some research. You can retrofit them pretty easy, and have a much better outcome. I suggest looking at this site: http://faqlight.carpassion.info/index.html

I'll let you form your own bias. :)

well now, not sure exactly what i should do, so erik, the ones you installed are the whole setup right, the shield and everything. also what happens if i just buy the kit and replace the bulbs using my headlamps, can i just oreder the kit that has the same size bulb as mine and put it in and instal everything?

The shield plays a huge role. You could coat the tip of the HID bulb to cut glare if you absolutely have to have a HID "kit".

One of the best HID resources. For other help and inspiration you may want to check out www.hid-planet.com. There is a lot of useful information posted there. It's a lot of reading, but totally worth it in the long run. Retrofit's are just siiiiiiiiick.

From "Kit" HID's. You are basically changing a stock light to one that is extremely bright. In the stock housing, this leads to glare. Drive at night somewhere, down in Bellevue or Seattle and you'll see the difference between a real projector housing with HID and a HID in a stock housing with glare.

I think that 8000k is the highest as far as cars.

I've got the 8000k HID bulbs. Had to retrofit the housing a little bit to get them to fit in. The bulbs bigger than the stock ones.

yea, i can see how it gets done, but retrofitting the housing doesnt look so easy for me, just think about the design of my headlight, their like quarters of bubbles that face a 45' anglue upward. but i will do it, we have the technology. my headlights will go to 11.

Are stock neon headlights just too expensive? I'm gonna have to take a look at them.

Not sure of the circumference of your housing, but check these out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ACURA-TSX-XENON-PROJECTORS-HEADLIGHT-RETROFIT-OEM_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a543Q7c66Q3a2Q 7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a 1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem3 50137908626QQitemZ350137908626QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5f TruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

TSX Projectors are nice, they have good color to them. (Think of all the TSX's you've seen) Keep in mind that's just for the projector housing. You still need the D2S Bulbs and Ballast. Decent price though.

If you have a stock housing with HID bulbs, find out what type of bulb it is, and what type of a project it will fit into. The projector breakdown:
