Just got my swap done not to long ago. It was a up hill battle with all the problems of my first swap. I had to pull my y7 out due to a rod knock. I bought the swap off craigslist witch I'm not going to do again. Turns out that the head the motor came with was fucked up. And the trany grinds in 3rd gear at high rpms. Lucky for me I had a spare ls head at my house. It was a pain but I think the ls was worth it.

The cams came with the swap. I didn't put them in my buddie Eddie helped me with timeing and stuff I didn't know how to do.

Damn, im thinking about getting cams before i turbo but i dont want to put them in myself and ive been hearing that i would have to retune me ecu. do you know anything about that?

No I haven't really heard about haveing to mess with ur ecu because of diffrent cams. But if u do get cams then it's not a big deal because when u boost it they will mess with ur ecu to make sure everything is running good.
What cams where u thinking About getting?

shouldn't have to re-tune unless you go with a really aggressive cam setup.
