I was wondering what would cause my motor to smoke when I rev it hard. It only smokes after I get above 3000 rpms. Also there's alot oil on the number 4 spark plug or the one on the driver side.
Any guesses?

It's oil burning I'm almost sure. But i checked the bottom end and it looked ok. I think it's something with my head again. I'm on my second head already.

well its sounds like your spark plug tower seal is bad on cylinder 4 had to replace them on mine there called tower seals(if you have oil in your spark plug tubes)
and as for the burning oil i would have to say maybe your pcv i would check to see if it is plugged up sometimes it will suck up oil if it is stuck open and will just go into the intake manifold and burn the shit up, just take some intake cleaner and spray it out and it should be good if that is the problem

lol my bad on the b18 i think that the tower only has the top seal, plus the spark plug tubes are in the center of the head not on the back side like on the sohc i showed above(thats what i meant to say, same dealeo just different place)and its a dohc instead of a sohc.i dont think the spark plug towers are removable on the b18 soooo... i havent really been able to find any exploded views of the b18 head but. all you would have to do is replace the top tower seals to solve the leaking problem

Prolly your rings, do a compression test. You'll prolly going to have a low cylinder. Pour oil down the cylinders and if the compression goes up its the rings, if its the same then its prolly the head.

what up man, quick question, did you get your head your head resurfaced and have it sent through a parts washer or hot tanked or anything? I ask cause myabe your valve sesals are shot , and need replaced cause the chemicals from them washers hardens and cracks em. Have you done a leak down test? That would tell u if your rings, or valve seals are bad. it's pretty easy test.

check these two links out pretty helpful. And search craigslist you can score a leak down tester or compression gauge tester fairly cheap.

from easiest to hardest....pcv, valve seals, piston rings

I'm not that familiar with hondas, but some toyotas that sludge up burn oil past the rings AND will pull through the pcv system. well....should calirfy, if rings sludge up they will push and pull between cylinder and crankcase.

Somtimes a PCV will plug up and either cause crankcase over pressurize which will push oil past rings and push out gaskets and somtimes push oil through pcv system "fresh air" hose (usually goes to intake before throttle) which messes even more stuff up. and yes a little is normal, alot is not.

#1=155
#2=155
#3=170
#4=200

wasn't what I was hopeing for...Now I'm buying a leak down tester to pin point the problem.

is that left to right or right to left? I'm assuming honda will call #1 the closest to driver side.

numbers read like a head or block problem....155 isn't "bad" but compared to 200 its a dead motor. #4 is actually really good number (probably hondas spec for best), #3 probably lower than ideal, # 1 and 2 like i said aren't "bad" but thats a big difference from the other two.

if all 4 were 155ish I'd say the engine has 300k miles on it but still runs ok :D

so...to go forward, the 155psi cylinders could be leaking to each other past the head gasket taking a little bit of oil from a passage way with it. If you do a cylinder leak down you'll wanna see if your getting air coming out of the other cylinder and/or at the oil fill cap.

thats my off the top of my head thought...good luck

what up man yeah that sounds a little off, leak down test would be a good move, but could be something repairable like some piston rings .
