ok...so here is the deal. I've been trying to figure out a logo for my auto repair business. It's called "Noble Automotive"

Been trying to come up with something with NA for the logo. I have an idea, but I suck at photoshop.

I want to transform the LA in the Dodgers logo to NA for mine. I want to keep it "looking" like the LA logo with the top and bottom lines on the letters. Also, get rid of the part of the L that is on the right side of the A. I also would like it black.

Thanks

How long have you been thinking of this logo?

A logo should be able to tell you plenty about the business without even reading it. And if I were to look at that I would think of something to do with Baseball. The deign you're looking for isn't just used in the "LA" font. But multiple others around the country.

I despise baseball with every fiber of my being but I still know that there are multiples out there of that.

Think about it, if you ever put that onto a hat, or a t-shirt, or a vinyl sticker on a car. It probably won't do you any good. As anyone looking to get potential repair work done will overlook it as something else. Unless of course you were to put the words "Noble Automotive" underneath.

And at that point you have a very tall rectangular logo. Which doesn't work well for many forms of advertising.

I'd reconsider, or at least think of some other concepts before you get too heavily invested in this idea.

it's just going to be part of my logo. I'm going to be adding gears around it

You could make it a N/A like naturally aspirated. I have mediocre photoshop skills so i cant make it but you could make the / a shifter and make the NA look like a seat.
