89 Prelude Gauge Light Tweaked

I was driving down the road when a loose wire the previous owner left grounded out and smoke started coming out of the dash the car runs fine everything works but the green dash lights for the gauge cluster and climate controls but the orange leds still work I'm think it the dimmer control but not 100% any help would be greatly appreciated and all exterior lights work

you can just get another dimmer switch from pull and save...fits realy easy in a tool bag...but i have found that if the dimmer switch is bad or not hooked up none of the lights on the dash will work...a connection may be loose in the back of the cluster

thanks the only prelude they have is a 90-91 and I've checked all the connections so I'm on the look out for a new dimmer switch

if you have an volt meter pull the dimmer switch out and check the ohms on it.
