99 Eclipse GSX Oil Pick Up Tube.

Apparently the "pick up tube" that goes from the oil pan to the turbo in the GSX is leaking.

ANy ideas?


Guess it isn't leaking that bad, but it's worth looking into I guess.

I'm going to try to pick up a Haines manual so I can start looking at some diagrams, haha. I was broke today though so I couldn't.

It's very common for the oil drain tubes to start leaking, I would recommend getting new gaskets for it.

Np, I actually just got done dealing with this same issue a couple months ago. It's good to see that you are taking care of this car, as long as you keep up on the maintenance she'll run great! it's of course if you start trying to make more HP then you will see things reach their limits and wear out/break.

Yeah dude, well it's in Anchorage, AK right now, my girlfriend just bought it a while ago. Trying to get it in okay shape to drive down to Haines then Juneau during Winter Break.

Then storage for Spring, but this summer I'm gonna take a look at it. I wanna get it in good stock shape, and since it's her car the only thing (for now anyway, haha) that I wanna do for it is get some coilovers! Ha. It's on rims from the guy before.

I'll try to get her to take some pics for us (I haven't seen it yet either!) haha.
