Here's a pic of my girlfriend's GSX that I've been posting questions about all the time, ha. This is the only one she has, I'll try to get more and post 'em when I can.
Ain't a bad ride, she's not "into" cars, but I'll be playing with it a bit this summer, how can I not? Haha.
Gonna try to score some coilovers for her.
1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
Engine:
AWD, turbo, A/T
Exterior:
Mystery rims. (haven't actually seen the car in person, ha, just this pic!)

Nice monster truck....I mean gsx there.
Don't underestimate the Autos! doesn't have to always be a 5spd to be perfect.

She was like, "But I doooonnnn'''tttt waaaannnaaa leeeaaarrnnn stiiiiiick.". Haha.
No worries, I'll let her drive whatever new car I get a bit until she starts liking it and we could always do a tranny swap!

Yeah, I'm gonna try to get some coilovers and drop her down a bit. That'll definitely help.
I'd slam it, but she probably wouldn't let me... She knows how awesome it is not being able to get in and out of driveways and parkinglots and stuff from driving around with me all the time, haha.

my cousin's reaction time in his cuda with a 4 speed was an average of .05 slower then his brother cuda with an auto and trans lock. it all depends on the driver

im not talking about reaction times. a built auto can shift quicker than most people can, and they tend to have fewer but longer gears and that means less time shifting. but anyway
/threadjack, if this convo should continue it needs to be started somewhere else

In just about a month I'll be diggin' into this car! I'll be doing a bunch of detailing work on 'er to so I'll post some nice threads about that.
:D Since my car's all new and whatnot I wont be as inclined to pull stuff apart and mess with it so this'll be my new toy.
