I started in the import car scene when I was 15-years-old. Unlike the masses, I was NOT introduced to cars at a young age from my father or other adult piers. On the contrary. Despite being criticized by my parents and others for wasting time and money, due to my deep intrigue and fascination of the smaller displacement internal combustion engine, as well as the power that could be produced by forced induction and modern technology that was applied to them, I persevered. I had my first turbocharged car at the age of 17. Now mind you, things were far different back in 2001 when the trend was altezza taillights, underglow, and the terrible fitting body kits that were all craze, and the extent of engine mods was intake and crush bent mild steel exhaust.
We, at Arsenal Motorsports, have done countless engine swaps, engine conversions, build-ups - from fully-built LS/Vtec Turbo, fully-built K20a2 Turbo, DSM’s and EVO’s; even installing a Skyline GTS RB25DET into a Z32 300zx. We love to fabricate: Mig/Tig; Aluminum/Stainless; Turbo-back exhaust; Intercooler piping; or just welding on a BOV flange. Other specialties include: wiring; ECU socketing; Vtec conversions; and harness repair. Engine management on: Crome, Hondata, AFC, Emanage, and DSMLink. Open sourcing and more. And of course, tuning! I started this company to raise the bar. I was sick of so-called performance shops delivering questionable work and misinformed information, and self-proclaimed tuners and backyard mechanics trying to pass for the real deal. My coworkers and I are ALL Certified ASE Technicians with numerous other automotive certifications. Not to mention, we both have our Associate Degrees in Automotive Technology. You get what you pay for and at Arsenal you get superior quality and workmanship. You'll see the difference!
