Sold it to my sister since I was going down to Idaho and didn't need 2 cars, but it's still in the family!

1991 Ford Festiva
6-speed FWD M/T
~65HP (wikipedia) 1.3L
Highest speed I ever got it to before I decided I didn't want to die in a Festiva: 70 mph
Times I got stuck in the snow during the winter: 0, awesome.
People it takes to pick the car up: 4 (depending on people)

Upgrades: disabled the heater (aka broken). Warm air rises and lifts the car up a little creating drag.

LOL! I dated a girl with a Ford Fiasco. That car rocked. Three cylinders of fury. We drove it 250 miles with no antifreeze and it never overheated. I almost killed us by falling asleep at the wheel over and over, until we finally got back home to Maryland. Just in time to change cars and drive to New Jersey, with the family. God I was a waste of space at that family get-together. As opposed to all the others....

She later switched to an Audi... no Jetta, which took a bullet, while we were in it. How do you explain to your girlfriend's dad about a bullet hole in the car, the two of you were in? Bah, he never liked me anyway.

I think the Fiesta would have taken the bullet well too, because I know for a fact, it can take a beating. That car was awesome.

You should make it a SHOgun.

Haha, I saw a Metro on campus the other day with rims... Kinda made me want one just for the hell of it. Get an older Metro and slam the f*ck out of it on the biggest rims I can find, haha.

My Festy was a rockin' 4 banger though, haha.

Dude, Shoguns are actually ridiculous, haha. Is that Jay Lenos?

I like how on Wikipedia it shows #2 and #6 out of the #7 original SHOguns as "location unknown", like they're out mysteriously prowling around somewhere pwning people.

wow, there was a Swift GTi in Concrete a couple years ago, me and my friend were trying to get it from the guy, don't know what happened to it though. Those little things would probably beat me if i wasn't paying attention.

We would go snow crawling with a guy that had a Suzuki samari with a snowmobile motor in it. You want a swap? do something bizarre that will throw everyone off

Look up the Fastiva. It's a local Festiva with an Escort GT motor swapped into it. I think it runs high 10's in the 1320 now. I remember when he took it Auto-X within a week of the swap. Killed Modified class that day.

It's awesome seeing big people in little cars, ha. I love the Festys, I wouldn't mind a 2dr Metro sometime just for kicks.
