So, I am preparing for my trip from Montana to Spokane and have notice wheel hop when i hit a bump and I also noticed a slight shake like motion when I get to about 55-60 mph. The shake is not bad, just kinda a rough ride. So i was wondering how do i tell if my struts are going bad, note I am running a set Tokico adjustable struts that are about 3 years old, and most of the time my car is below stock height
edit: one last note, 3 weeks ago i made a trip from montana to colorado, 1500 miles round trip and did not encounter any problems, and i did do some hard cornering, well as hard as you would want to on snow tires

well, usually what you would do is to basically bounce the car a little bit, and see how quickly it stops... but being as that might not work, just go on a mileage scale, normal timeline is ~ 75,000 miles ~

the shake like motion could be wheel balance...just shooting from the hip.
my thought is wheel hop over a bump would be to stiff rebound setting

yeah, my tokico's are a 1-5 scale and during the summer i run 5 becuz body roll blows when your cornering hard, so i might kick it down to like a 3 and see if i notice a difference

If you push down on the front of your car is it like stiff or not?

yeah with them completely tight you can barely move the car down. I put them in the middle yesterday and notice alot smoother ride but haven't tested the same places i was getting wheel hop previously

also check your wheel bearings, my car was doing similar things with shaking and it turned out BOTH of my front bearings were shot.
