Got a bigger picture of the car? Future plans look good, can't go wrong with an H22 ;)
And this is just my opinion, you can do as you please, but I think neons make cars look silly, unless it's a full on show car. Even then I'm not a fan. But whatever floats your boat bro!

She's clean. few scratches and dents but other then that its perfect. the neons are just somin to play around with. Not really a serious add on. they were $40 bucks and were a early xmas present so im not complainin haha. And im stoked the the swap. its gunna be alot funner with the bigger engine
ill work on getting some bigger pictures soon. Cameras dead and the ghosts around my house seem to have lost the charger...(ghost=little sister) so ill work on that ha

well, technically, a H22 is the same size (2.2) it's just a DOHC instead of a SOHC design

Looks good man. Definitely blends in with your car color. I like smoking out the tail lights on vehicles, did it on one of my cars, but couldn't on my last Accord because, well, if you look at the 6th gen coupe's, the tail light goes all the way across, if I smoked it it would've been this huge black strip in a red car and I figured having it red and blend in was better, ha.

I was gunna do just the clear strip of the tail lights black...but it didn't match the green. But it turned out good I think. And im painting the car hopefully by mid summer. So it'll be grey or white. Look much better then with the green

Black shows flaws much better than white, especially swirl marks and scratches. White will show all the dirt though lol. I would go with a darker silver, with some fine flakes. I think that would look awesome with the blacked out tails.

thats what i was thinkin. Except mayb a dark grey. Leanin more towards the black side of grey. i dont like strait silver cars.

well, just gound a v6 2.7L out of a 95 accord on craigslist for $375 :/ which is dirt cheap. But the only way id even have a chance o gettin it is to sell the 15's i got and im not even sure i could get $375 for em. So idk...hope i can figure somin out. v6 swap would be so tight.

Yeah dude, for sure. Would you have to swap out the tranny or is it interchangeable?
Brian
04-11-2010, 04:13 PM
an H22 swap would be better.
Plus, to swap in a V6 in the I4 CD chassis, is going to take some body work. The V6 is taller and won't fit in the I4 engine bay. The V6 and I4 CD chassis were different.

Ohh i didn't know that. I think i'll stick with the f22b2 then. H22 would be nice. but i could piece together a turbo for less and get good power out of it on stock internals. And the skies the limit after that. and even if i decide to go h22 later i could get a newpiping kit to fit the h22 and swap the turbo over so. Thats the plan

Just read this post. So true, ha. I'm an obsessive compulsive car cleaner, you definitely notice these things a lot more with a black car.

Oh for sure, I'm the same way lol. But black cars look sooo nice when they're clean
EDIT: The color on the 'stang looks pretty good, I might go a tad darker as well. It would go great on your car IMO.

Found these pics. Not to bad actually. I like the way the car looks in these more then any other pics of it. I got stock rims(steely's with honda hubcaps) back on due to 15's leakin. And also got a "Type R" grille. Honeycomb grille with Emblem double sided taped to it. I'll get a pic of it tomorow.

Put priorities before my wanting paint and turbo. Went out and got a Viper Alarm. 350 series somin like that. $255 not a bad price to pay to keep the assholes inmy neighborhood from messin with it. this will probably be the last thing for a while. focusing on racing for the time being.

Good investment. An alarm was the first thing I bought after buying my car. Is it a 2-way?

No i don't think so. Two way is when the car sends you messages or vibrates when it goes off right? Mines just the normal keypad things. Should keep people out though. wasn't much worried about getting it stolen as much as just broken into. http://soundscape.ca/474V.jpg

So i don't think i've posted pictures in a while of what i'm doin on my car. it's kinda been on hold for a while but i'm starting to get a little bit better flowing income now so it's time to start again. I bought a honeycomb grille and made the "type R" grill but i think thats all i've done. i'm borrowing my GF's sisters camera tomorow to get some good shot's of the car so i'll post them tomorow night.

Here is my Next Project. i'm still in teh planning stages of it right now. Any feedback on how well you think it'd work lemme know.
i'm wanting to bake my corner lights and removing the lenses. then taking night shade and just tinting the yellow part. so instead of a yellow square in the middle it's a black/tinted square. only problems i can see with running into this is the yellow showing through too much and me having to tint it out way to much. so i was thinking about trying to retrofit a LED type bulb into that housing? i don't even know if that'd be possible or if they make an LED bulb that would work for what i'm trying any ideas?

So i went to Richland monday for a little trip with my girlfriend. And on the way back coming down into spokane I started hearing a knocking noise from the front end. Turns out i'm going to be replacing an axle sometime in the near future. So the body damage is on hold and Molly's parked until i can get the axel. I might take some pics of the process
