which would you suggest? i am currently leaning towards an optima as they were recommended by my auto electric instructor... i have a group 25 battery size and i know that optima makes a red top for mine but not the yellow top

I have an optima.. its a few years old now, and it was uber cold here yesterday. Keep in mind I don't drive my car much. But the cold got to it from sitting there a few days. So, if you use your car everyday, I'm sure you won't have issues with Optima. I used to have a stereo which is why I originally went with the Optima.

I'm sure Domesticated will chime in on the Orbital.

yea ive had three yellowtop orbitals in the last two years, i put them in all my cars. i have one now, and i had two stolen from my last two cars. but i get them for cheaper than usual cause i got the hook up at napa. i ran two 15's in my supra with a 4000w amp and that battery held out pretty good.

I got a yellow top optima for my Integra had for all most 3 years and i've been happy with it. The price for em sucks but you get what you pay for

alright then, the battery is purchased at autozone... optima group 75-25... retail 159.99 plus tax... paid 138 AFTER tax...

Good decision, I gurantee you'll be happy with that choice. And it adds a little bling under the hood.

i ran a optima red top for years. i let it die once so that it wouldn't power an l.e.d. then i had it recharged and it worked like brand new. its a good battery
