The airless tire won't work... It looks good, in theory, but it'll degrade too fast and not offer any amount of performance... I'll stick with tubeless radials. ;)

And you have to have tiny brakes. Look how minuscule those rims are!

they will be designing them to work on any car and i honestly doubt that they will ignore vehicles that have larger brakes...
also, just think of the upside... never worry about tire pressure, tire that would stand up to abuse like potholes... and yes they are planning it for consumer use, and i will be trying to get in on when they start consumer testing because they are cool to me

It Depends. It was not yet developed a fluid is considered appropriate for use in bullet resistant vests. Not that I'm aware of anyway. The simple classification of "non-Newtonian fluid" does not mean much in itself. Not all liquids such stiffen in shock, some go in the opposite direction. They are very exotic in itself. Latex paint is non-Newtonian fluid, but no one wants to make a vest. Non-Newtonian is only a classification that a wide variety of different fluids inside.
