I really need some people who know some about ae86s...and i'd also love to meet people who know how to drift around the spokane area.

Any plans for the car?

First im gonna focus on all the cosmetic stuff...and getting her on the ground!! shes like hella monster truckin right now at stock suspension. eventualllly im going to want to do some sort of supercharger set up or turbo set up. im not really worried about her being fast because she already gets sideways just 2nd gear at what like 112hp? i just want her to look cleaaaaan. :)
first day i got her

yeah yeah whatever...been busy, i'll kinda sift through the new posts but usually nothing interesting enough to pull me in to respond :p

So welcome!!

Nice to see another AE86, a GT-S to boot. Theres more to it than just "dropping" the car...theres a handful of different ways to go with these things. As already suggested check out hachiroku.net ....also club4ag is helpful too.

usually the recommendation is to focus on suspension and handling before getting carried away with engine modifications.

remember, always feel free to ask questions...not everyone gives good answers, use some common sense...theres a whole bunch of knowledge out there just takes some time.

Need anything dont hesitate to ask me, although I tend to be a "search before you ask" person.

Which area of the NW are you in?

Yeah I hear yeah there. I've been fairly busy as well but I still manage to get on here and piss people off lol.

Anyways back to the topic Gsolo is a wise man. Suspension is most def key. I would look into a lowering spring and and new struts set up. They run about 500 bucks for like Megan springs and eibach struts. But from what I hear it is a decent set up. I've never tested it so I wouldn't know first hand. But def don't cut the springs and when you get new springs and struts I'll take your old stuff off your hands lol :p

My friend used to have the coupe with cut springs. It wasn't that great. But your suspension on my TE would make my car handle amazing.

cut springs is retardedly stupid.

Espelir progressive springs, camaro rear shocks ...decent for daily driving and spirited handling. I'm sure if I had better tires i'd say its even better lol
