So I'm thinking of ordering some tires from TireRack.com. I have before, and had them ordered through a shop in my hometown.

Is it possible to just order them to my apartment? Or do I have to find a shop to have them delivered to?

If I have to have a shop to deliver them to, any good ones in the Moscow/Pullman area that aren't going to charge me, or at least not thaaaat much?

Thanks!

I need a camber kit. Lowered car on springs + no camber kit = negative camber = extra wear on the inside = need new tires. :(

Going to buy new tires, but probably not a camber kit since I'm trying to sell the car and that's an extra $110+ that the new owner should deal with, ha.

before you order tires through Tirerack, check out www.bing.com/cashback, search your tire size in this format: "205/60/15"

It'll bring up results from Discount Tire Direct, which offers free shipping and no tax in WA. There are some rebate deals too through Discount Tire.

Falken Ziex ZE-912 or ZE-512 should be just fine for a car you're selling. Or Azenis, but the Ziex might be better for selling since they're a 3 season tire and Azenis is strictly a summer tire (but it has a tempting $80 rebate)

Discount Tire ships via UPS, so I don't see why you can't just have them sent to your APT. As for shops, call around and get a low quote for mount and balance, or find your nearest Wal Mart Tire center and have them do the job for $40. (vs the $60 of Les Schwab)

Thanks for the heads up!

I'm thinking about Sumitomo's again because they're so cheap, although I'd have to pay for shipping I think it still comes out cheaper.

Unfortunately none of those discounts apply to me! I'm only getting 2 tires, and they're all for 4 as far as I could see. Shame.

Other than that, I think I'll just order them to my door!

Not sure how Honda buyers are, but to me, when tires aren't a complete matching set, I tend to lowball more. If you're going for just a pair of Sumis (AKA Cheap), check Craigslist and Junkyards

the Bing 10% cashback works with 1 tire or 4.

Well ended up going through TireRack *shrugs* worked out fine. Ordered 2 tires for 210, cheapest I could find on their site. UPS delivered them straight to my apartment on the 3rd floor, I wasn't there, but they left them with my neighbor which is cool, ha. So I got them from him.

Tires're on, car might be sold tomorrow!!
