I ordered my HID's ad they just got shipped today. I got the wiring pretty much figure out and im puttin em in tomorow. My question is, does anyone know how to aim the HID's. ive read afew tuts on it were yo measure against the wall, but some of the measurements are confusigly worded. So if anyone could clear this up or maybe come help me do it that'd be great. Also, the HID's i bought dont have High beams, so this is gunna be all i got until i can afford the hi/lo controller.

I'm not entirely sure, since when I put my HID's in I put them into aftermarket projector headlights that didn't have an adjustment thinger. :/
BUT, I would say if you can park next to a garage door or wall or something with your stock bulbs on and mark where the height is/cut off, anything you can.
Then when you put the HID's in (leave car in same spot!) try to adjust your headlights either by the stock adjuster screw thingers, or by adjusting the whole headlight itself (loosening bolts and whatnot). Try to get them to match up about where your stock ones are.
Then dip it down just a little bit more, 'cause their HID's and it's nicer to not blind people, haha.
Not entirely helpful, but mebbe if you don't get any more responses.
unless you have projectors your going to want to aim them down so the glare isnt as bad

ok, so I think what i'll do is just pull up to my garage door with some painting tape and mark where it is...and then make the HID's 1-2 inches lower then that dependg on how far i am from the wall. sound right? you guys recommend getting the high beam controller later too?
yeah that sounds like it should work for you, just remember hids were never designed to go into stock headlight housing so you gotta watch the glare. your also not going to have that sharp cut off line because you dont have projectors...
what do you mean by high beam controller?

the place i bought these from make a hi/lo beam controller. From what im seeing in these shitty instructions its just a controller that plugs in as a kind of extention off the other ballasts that makes the lights brighter..thats a total guess i could be completly wrong..but HID's take a few minutes to warm up so high beams would be pointless...i might just get some 3000k to go in my highbeam spot..

I never used my high beams, ha. But I'd say just wait, 'cause like me, you might not ever need 'em!
As for the stock housing, just keep an eye on it also, make sure that the HID's don't melt or mess with the OEM housing! They got much hotter.
And if you get an "unusual" (in quotes because with aftermarket HID's you'll usually get 1 or 2 every few weeks or so) amount of people flashing their lights at you you might want to take a look into aftermarket projector's, or retrofit or something.

I didn't know the Accords had 2 headlight bulbs on each side. If it does have 2 bulbs, I believe you might have to buy another set just for high beams. I might be wrong but for some reason I have heard people talking about having to buy a set for high beams
your right bubba....most accords have two sets up bulbs...so they are not a bi-xenon or anything

Yup, at least mine did. 2 bulbs. In some ways it's kind of nice I guess, ha.

New problem: tried hooking the HID's up, they didnt work so i messed with em a bit and still didn't work. I put the old reg. bulb back in and that wont work now. Fuses are still good. Any ideas on whats wrong?

H'M!
Not entirely sure... I'd start with general diagnostics if you can. Like you did before, try to make everything back the same as stock before the HID's.
Check as much of the visible wiring as you can for anything that might've shorted out! That'd be my first guess...

My car has little bubble levels in each lamp unit so I just leveled them off flat like I would with my regular bulbs. I've played with aiming them down but didnt really notice any real difference.

If I were me, I wouldn't get HID's unless I had projectors to put them in.

Got em put in...the lights have the same cutoff as before from small distances such as a few feet. but of course since they are brighter it just spreads alot more...I figured out my problem, the clip that loks the plug into place was on the wrong side (dmmtuning said it was "reverse polarity")...the cars red/black wires are on different sides from the ballast plug..so when i plugged em in backwords to match the red-red and black-black..the clip on the ballast plug caught on the cars plug meaning it wasnt fully connected. Jammed the plugs together and they wrked great (: tookpictures but its hard to see. ill get em up in a sec.

They look green in that picture..but they are really more blue, 10000k so its def not green like that lol, nd the second picture is of where the cutoff is.
btw, I am going to eventually get projectors. I'm just waiting to get more money and find some clean ones. Because for some reason to me they just dont look right...and im pretty sure since my High and low beams are seperate bulbs..if i got proectors id have to buy another kit for my high beams cuz reg bulbs are useless in projectors.

Yeah dude, those definitely look good.
I think this is my plan:
I have to replace the fogs on my car anyways, since they're shattered, so when I get new ones I think I'm going to throw in some HID's in there.
Then I'll get some HID's for my stock headlights, and also buy a tinted cover for them. I think I can find one online. That way it'll dim 'em a lot because I have a feeling with my headlights I'd end up being just one of those obnoxiously bright people, ha.
But anyway, the fogs'll light up the road nicely with the HID's, and the HID's'll shine through the tinted headlights fine too and it should work out.
Plus if I ever change my mind, because I got covers and didn't spray tint 'em, I should just be able to pop 'em off!

idk how well hid's would look as fogs? are you lookin to get 3000k(yellows)? i dunno if those would be bright enough but you coud try...if i were you id go with some colored ones...like blue/purple/pinkish. I think it'd look better but thats my opinion...but yeah i was kinda surprised they turned out as well as they did. $45 total is nothin compared to the other conversion kits.
if your goin forlooks dothis! dont see 1000k much! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3246668

You don't need your fog lights to be as bright as headlights, if you do that then it is like running brights. Most people go with a yellow HID in their fog lights. I have seen them before and they are great looking and lay out a ton of light as it is but never interfered with their headlights.

Last time I had some HELLA yellow projector fogs and they looked decent. I'm kinda interested in getting the same (temp?) that I put into my headlights, and have 'em match. So if I did that they'd be a lot more useful than yellows.

Ehh. I had these red lights on the front of my first car, at least in AK it's illegal to have any red lights on the front of your car. :/
Cop pulled me over and had me disconnect them right then and there. They're an "emergency color".
Don't know what the law is anywhere else, but I can image it's the same. Maybe.

oph yeah...forgot about that..i think your rigt reds would be illegal.
would the yellow be able to shine through the other hid's? i didn't think about that, if youi have a brighter color in the headlights it might take away from the yellow.

EHHHHHHHh, nottt rreeaaaalllllyyyy. I had 8OOOK HID's through projectors, and yellow fogs, and you couldn't see the yellow fogs if the headlights were on at night since the fogs weren't very bright, but other people could definitely see 'em!
