[b]Took some quick pics while I was down in Lewiston- 5/11/10. The alley one was kind of fun, for a themed "ride of the month" on another forum. Wish I had a better camera and it had waited until it was darker out to do it though, but I think they turned out alright. I need a polish! Enjoy. [b]

Well I've begun my drive! I taped up my car and drove to Seattle this morning, a quick 300 mile "warm up" if you will.

Here's a few pictures. I'm gonna head up to Canada this evening when my dad flies down from Anchorage.

Well, no I'm broke, lol. But I think since I'm not into heavy modification towards performance, I'm going to go for a more subtle, super clean VIP look.

>I'm already workout out a deal with a friend for some gun metal 7 spoke 18"'s, that plus some low profile tires will drop the car a little more from the height it is now with the lowering springs that're on it.

>Gotta replace the fogs.

>Was her.

That's about it for now, haha. Once I get everything straightened out I'm definitely gonna try to do some more. Wouldn't mind the usual H/I/E combo, but I don't want a loud exhaust, it'd have to be pretty dang low.

Any suggestions in this thread are welcome too! Car's clean and stock so I'm open to suggestion!

I think you can pull off that look pretty well with this car. And I'm a big fan of black, so kudos on color choice haha

Yeah, me too. I'd rather have white than black, but whites are pretty rare. Black'll look really good though.

Yeah, I definitely want to do something to it. This is a clip from some crazy riced out Accord, but I saved it because of the tail lights. I cropped the photo.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/Car%20Pics/26034920141_large-1.jpg

It's the 7.5gen, mine are a little more rounded, but the idea would be the same. I kinda like it. I think he might've used an overlay... Not sure.

Oh yeah, and that 6sp is kinda weird, ha. I've driven M/T before, but only 5spd, so it's like, strange....

The tail lights have a whiff of Mercedes to them. I think they would look great as 50/50's or blackout.

awesome find man.

I would get some 8th gen HFP rims for it. Those look so sweet and you can keep the HFP theme

go with these wheels, they are specially ment for fwd cars that want a staggered looking stance, and come with a 4.5" lip on the rear! yes this is an awd subie, but axis made them with the intention for fwd specifically

Yeah same. I think I miiiight experiment with vinyl tint vs spray, since if I mess up or decide I don't like what I was going for I can just pull it off too, ha.

That would look really good! Good idea, ha. Might have to look into that. (current price depending of course)

That's a HUGE lip, haha. Definitely would work with a VIP look. ATM I'll probably just get my hands on something that looks decent for a good price. If I got baller rims with a huge lip like that I think I'd want to work the whole car into more of a VIP look.

those are the wheel im gettin when i get the neon running. 18x8 2.5" lip up front, 18x9 4.5" lip in back. a set is 1200 bucks for the rims. but im pretty sure a car like like that would good with almost any wheel (knock on wood)

Bahhh, I didn't tape it, haha. But I did juuuuuust get back to Moscow from Seattle with her. She's tucked neatly into her car port behind my apartment.

Nice dude. Yeah, the last set of wheels I had had like a 1" lip, ha, so 4.5" is crazy. I'd definitely rock them. $1200's pushing it right now though, ha. But maybe one day.

Bump with updated pics!

Took 'em with my digital camera with hard lighting, sun was setting. Shadows everywhere and whatnot. :/ But still was fun! Enjoy.

Car's already lowered on springs, so it rides a little lower, looks nicer. Will definitely look/be lower when I get some rims on there with low profile tires as well, so I'm not to concerned with the ride height right now.

Open to any suggestions/comments!

lkhgzetluzwthulgsajet; $900, haha. Maybe one of these days, or I'll find a used one full exhaust or something. :/ That's pushin' my budget right now, haha.

From what I've heard about this car, the headers are actually pretty decent, but I could still probably benefit from aftermarket ones. Other than that I wouldn't mind an exhaust, but until money comes around I'll enjoy the silent stock exhaust, haha.

yeah slammed is nice. I didn't slam my car this year because I am running a size up in tires to help prevent bending my rims on montana roads so I rub bad when I am slammed and turning or hit a bump. Plus it is also not wearing my tires to bad.

Here's some of the pictures from my drive. Ended up taking 3 days and 2100 miles. I left Moscow I.D. at midnight, Friday night. Drove to Seattle and hung out there for about 12 hours while my girlfriend flew to L.A. and my dad flew down to drive up with me. We left Saturday night and drove up into Canada.

Night one- We slept in our tent in a turn out right past Williams Lake.
Night two- we slept in our tent in an RV park in Fort Nelson.
Night three- we made it to Skagway and slept in our tent in an RV park.

First stop in Seattle to drop our kittens off to fly home ahead of me.

Once I got to Skagway we missed an earlier ferry by 30 minutes!! So we had to wait until Wednesday. Figured I had time and would clean up my car, since I had all my supplies and there was running water. In retrospect I would've covered more of the rear and side of the car. Actually the car wrasn't dirty AT ALL, until I hit a patch of dirty road for about a quarter mile, and even then it was mostly because of big ass trucks flying past me, I was going like 30 mph.

Went out with my girlfriend and took some fun pictures of our cars in the sun while we were out.

Me = '03 AV6 6MT
Her = '99 Eclipse GSX

I know she's monster truckin', but she has to use that car year round through LOTs of snow so I don't think we'll be lowering it at all. She's due for new tires, so I might get some beefier ones to help fill the gap.

Enjoy. :D

Yeah, we might get the rear and tiny windows tinted a little, but not much. Probably leave the fronts clear though since it's illegal to have any non-factory tint on the front windows here (WTF right?).

Yup! That's the plan, should definitely help with the 4x4in' a little.

Some new pictures for you guys. We're still learning how to adjust aperture and exposure time to get good low light pictures, so this is our first try.

I've got quiet a few, ha. But they're sloooooowly coming around. I'm just glad I got it looking decent. Basic plans are a full exhaust, lose the lowering springs and get some coils, retrofit HID's, '06-'07 rear lip, bumper, tail lights, front bumper and front lip.

WELL, I threw the stock rims back on, and stored it. So far nothing new, ha. Just saving up a little money on the side so maybe I can get some stuff this winter.

I'll be pulling the front bumper off soon so I can pull the headlights and retro fit 'em, that'll probably be my first "upgrade". And I wanna repaint the plastic housing that holds the fogs maybe. But so far, it's just chillin'!

:( Yeah. Sucks because it's outside, lol. Cold as f*ck, but I figured I'll pull it off, then loosely bolt it back on. I wanna keep it on so it wont get warped and it'll retain it's shape, but I don't need to fully bolt it on until I get my headlights done.

Here we go..

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/Car%20Pics/IMG_0777.jpg

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/Car%20Pics/IMG_0776.jpg

Removed all the stupid plastic snaps from the top and pulled off that plastic piece-

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/Car%20Pics/IMG_0779.jpg

Removed all the bolts and snaps on the underside of the bumper and pulled the front lip off. Note: There was some double sided tape or something holding the lip tight at the grill fyi. The lip was put on at the dealership or wherever with the entire HFP package so this bumper hasn't seen the light of day in years! And you can tell from how extremely dirty it is, haha. Gonna be polishing that up nice and sealing it when I put the lip back on in the Spring-

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/Car%20Pics/IMG_0781.jpg

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/Car%20Pics/IMG_0780.jpg

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/Car%20Pics/IMG_0778.jpg

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/MetaEnder/Car%20Pics/IMG_0784.jpg

Once everything was out, taped up the headlight bulb connector ends, and then popped the bumper back in place. Put in just a few of the top screws and a couple snaps to hold it snug for my .2 mile drive home from the shop I work at. Popped my fog lights back in (it was dark outside) and headed home!

Yeah, I opted out of it. They don't charge much at all, and they do like 1 a week so they're pro at all. Otherwise it'll take me a month and I'll fuck it up, lol.

As for an intercooler, me too! Haha. Once of these days. I'm actually kind of leaning towards a SC, but that's wayyy in the future.

do you have a bypass valve on your CAI or just praying u don't suck water?

No, unfortunately no bypass valve for my engine model CAI :(. BUT I'm more reassured because after examining the fender and bumper after install it's completely covered. There aren't any holes at all, and no holes in the bottom plastic either so it's completely protected from splash up which is fantastic. Also I get sketched out enough there's a hydroshield thing I can get which would help.

Amazon.com: Injen Technology X-1034BLK Black Hydro-Shield Pre-Filter: Automotive

I figure since it's that protected from the plastics, I should be fine in rain as long as I don't go through any ridiculous puddles. And I generally don't drive in the rain anyway. We'll see man! If I get too sketched out I'll pick up a SRI.

Best one, IMO. The angle, the lens flare, the cropping... all good.

Yeah, getting enough contrast out of a black car at night can be pretty tough. You had the right idea shooting it at a lit parking garage though since that will help with your lighting issues. Maybe try HDR for that added bit of detail/contrast.

Looks like a pretty legit setup for all the snow you get up there in AK. Do you change them out in warmer weather or do you keep those wheels on all year round?
