I had a 12" RF punch in my trunk for a while but ripped it out cuz i was pissed at it flyin around inside my trunk. I would't mind having it in my car but i could care less if It doesnt get put back in. I do have a small box with 8" speakers that i'd liketo put in just for a little louder music when im in the mood. Any ideas on how to make them stay in one place withou having to drivelike a granny. And if you have any good ideas on how to strap the 12" down i migh put it back in if i can make it stay. any ideas would be helpfull

Twas what i was thinking. I think i might attach the 8" speaker box to the 12"... it kinda fits and takes up the least amount of room if i decide t put both in. Heres a rough idea. I'd also probably add a few strips of velcro to each box and maybe 2 more L brackets on the two sides of the 12" box for added support. Seems like it'd keep it from moving around. Sometimes i like to take the corners fast (:

I threw a rope around mine, ha, and attached it to some holes I found on the frame. Worked great! That and I put duct tape under neat hit, rolled so that it ws sticky on both sides to keep it from sliding around.

Yeah I'm thinking the L brackets are going to be the easiest/cheapest route. And it will be easy to remove if you need to take the box out.

When I had my double din installed in my last car I didn't want to have to mess with pulling it out and fixing loose wires, 'especially since it had wayy more features than most decks, so I had it professionally installed. They did all the wiring for me, ran the wires through the interior super clean like to the back, cost me like $50 in AK, prolly find it cheaper down south here. But my 2 cents, could be worth it if you keep having problems!
