well, if it's anything like the D16Z6 then redline would be 7200, but I've heard that the SOHC VTEC ZC's don't like it too well at that high RPM's.

Plus, there is no reason to take it up to 7200 RPM. It hits max power at 6500 RPM.

This is true, haha. Why oh why? I say, since the car's dark already you should smoke 'em out. The aftermarket roundness of 'em will look decent through the black vs the OEM and you wont look like a dork anymore, haha.

It's like a tranny, may look ike a girl, and may sound semi like a girl, and be all covered up...but deep down inside its still a guy with a dick. It's just one of those things that i'd always think about wether it was my car or not, like "damn, i hate those ebay lights." lol even if they were tinted.

On the contrary though, a friend of mine, Damien, had those Altezza tails, and they were smoked. I never once knew they were aftermarket, ha.

lol yeah i know! hopefully getting stocks here soon.

so i found out that the ecu im running is the stock p06 ecu used for non vtec engines...kinda sucks but oh well. u borrowed a chipped ecu with launch control and everything and it was amazing so i might go that route if anyone knows a good, trustworthy chipper/tuner let me know.

jose, (d112crzy on here) is a tuner and could chip your p06 including adding vtec.

some updates...finally got different tails...got a P28 so VTEC works now...switched out the ls seats for 99/00 si ones.

Rad dude, you'll have to post some pictures sometime. Did you just get some OEM tails? VTEC's always a plus since you've got the motor, ha. New seats are always nice too. :D

Looks clean man. I like the car, looks like it's got a decent start and you'll just be cleaning it up for a bit.

Definitely like the color, it's pretty unique. I'd say keep the color and once you've got it close to "done" as far as basic modding goes either put some time in or pay and get it polished up to get that paint shiny.
