Turns out that the back right wheel only had one lug-nut and the back left only had too!

"Washington Special"- pretty much everything was covered in moss and mold...

I bought a JDM valve cover (or Galant valve cover depending) and had it powdercoated through Tirrados Custom Coatings. Carlos is a great guy and does amazing work. Check him out if you ever need any work done.

I bought a Punishment FMIC for her and this is the start of the teardown to fab up the core to the front bumper.

Started working with the rims I got:
Stock gross rims
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3492/4070040172_c3e6afacbc.jpg
New rims thrown on just to see what they would look like
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2435/4069282179_1f8670ee0e.jpg
And new rims painted black

So I went to put on my passenger side front wheel and things didnt go so well... First was how much rust was on my rotors (which are getting changed out so isnt such an issue), and second was due to the center threaded piece, the wheel wouldnt go on with the center cap on. After a bunch of elbow grease and the such I got the wheel on. Im still surprised at how much rust was there when I removed the rims. Luckily it really isnt anywhere else on the body.

I needed to replace the passenger side door as it was crushed in a little and unsalvagable. Luckily I was able to find a donor car with matching black cherry paint so it was an easy swap. There are still a few things I need to do to it, but it closes nice enough so Im happy. Plus it looks way better than what was originally on there.

I just bought a few small items through Street Tuned Motorsports to tide me over until the real meat of my last purchase comes through. I just started the build on my BOSS Small Block 2.3L Stroker which will include Wiseco pistons, Eagle rods, ARP everything, ACL bearings, and possibly a Kiggly Main Girdle... David at BOSS Innovations is a great guy and does amazing work so Im really excited about the motor being built by him.

Are you the guy that came down with Tim? Yeah, they are all cleaned up now. Mostly anyway LOL... its still going to be sitting in the garage for a bit so I wasnt too detailed, but its a hell of a lot cleaner than they were

Welcome bro! I think if there were any wasps left they exited out the back of the burban on our way down. I'll be loading the gvr4 up on a trailer and taking it down to David's at the end of May, that will be the 2nd to last weekend before I leave for the desert.
