So this has been going on for a few weeks now. My car likes to pop out of 2nd and sometimes 3rd. When it likes to pop out is if I downshift to 2nd and don't give it gas. Such as making a turn. Once it pops out it won't go back into 2nd so I just shift to 3rd. But if I go from a dead stop and shift in 2nd it stay in as long as I am giving it gas. It almost seems like if likes to pop out once it is below a certain rpm. I can also hear some noice when I accelerate in first from a dead stop almost like a whine.

Sounds like a throw out bearing, or prob. your Syncros

sounds like your shift forks. theres little plastic inserts on you shift forks that can prematurely wear down from either resting your hand on the shifter while driving, high rpm shifts, high heat, or insufficient lubrication. this causes the plastic to wear off the cast shift forks leaving the forks to rest freely and wobbly on your gear slider. when driving it is loose on the slider and can pop it out of gear, explains the wining you hear, and the tension from accelerating will keep the fork in place on the slider preventing it from popping out until you start cruising and relive tension.

not all of them have plastic inserts, i know alot where it is just a fork and you lube the ends of it with just wheel bearing grease lightly, or whatever other things you would like to use. but it c ould be very possible that it could be a clutch fork issue, or possibly pressure plate issue, but im going to say bad synchro

and if its a bad synchro you would have had trouble shifting long before it pops out of gear. bad synchro will cause the gears to rub and over time will wear enough surface area off the gears that they dont lock properly. so if you have been having trouble gettting into those gears its your synchro, now that its popping out, you need new gears.
check your shifter bushing and linkages
check your tob, little wiggle room is needed
if its not those you gotta crack the tranny open.
check your synchros
check the gears
check your shift fork
if you gotta make it to the end then thats too bad lol, but its a good order to go in

Another thing is when I am in gear and cruising if i let of the throttle the whole shifter moves forward a tad and if i give it gas it goes back.

thats just your tranny and motor mounts, your whole tranny rotates under acceleration so your shifter moves a bit. mine used to also before i switch to solid linkage bushings, solid tranny and engine mounts.
