7m-gte is in this cars future. As well as my own custom coilovers using SW20 front strut inserts. The SW20 struts are 4 inches shorter than mine. >:)

Oh btw everyone.. The car now has a W50 5spd and no gay auto tranny.

I think a 7M would be over kill personally. Chassis twisting over kill. I have a 5mge sitting in my shop that I was going to swap into my TE but even that is crazy. I have seen a 3TC wheel stand a TE.

What motor do you have again? isn't it a 22R? If I was going do to swap on your car or mine I would look into a 4AGE. It is a common swap and there are ample parts available for fairly cheap.

I am going to swap a 7m or a 5m. Not sure yet. I wouldnt mind a low boost turbo 5m. I think it would be a cool setup. Like 4 lbs.

JZ motors are spendy. Thats the problem. I plan on swapping a 1j into my RX (im a hypocrite) or getting a X7 Cressida and build a 1.5jz for it.

My Corona isn't about going super fast at all. I just want the inline 6 sound and the turbo sound, and a little power to have fun and good reliability.

Generally a "newer" 1JZ is no more expensive than an old M motor that you'll have to rebuild. I'm biased but I absolutely love the 1JZ.

I could do the 7m swap for about 2k-2500.
