This be my Jeep. 4.0 HO, 4x4, 5 speed, and pretty awesome. The interior is much nicer than the exterior lol.

Nice! I love 'em, my buddy has a '91 and it still runs great. I'd like to get one sometime.

Thanks guys, I'm loving it so far. Its does great going up customer's unplowed driveways in the woods. This thing's 2wd is better than the all-trac's awd most of the time haha.

The only issue it has (besides dripping a little oil), is that it sometimes doesn't like to get into gear unless you're rolling a little. The PO said it was the slave cylinder, does this sound familiar to anybody??

thats what the slave was doing in my honda when it went out...no matter how hard the clutch was pushed in it wouldnt go into gear and i had to revmatch it

It shifts fine when I'm on the go, it just won't get into gear at a stand still. So I pop it in 3rd to get it rolling and it usually goes into first then. But yeah, no matter how hard I step on the clutch or how many times I do it, it's like it hits a wall, and doesn't even grind if I pull the clutch out while trying to shove it in... Oh well, I'll just deal with it until I have time to take it in.

Eventually, my plans are (like most other jeep owners) is to give it a lift and some big tires, rims, exhaust, lights on top, paint it, and then not go off roading with it :P I'm too much of a clean freak to intentionally damage the paint lol.

Update: no changes...

But here are some pictures of me having a little fun, some on pavement, some not (dirt and mud for those of you who aren't familiar). Nothing too extreme since my 4wd is basically unusable, but it was fun anyways!

Hmm, '92 XJ with the AX-15, that means you should have an internal slave cylinder. Not an easy fix. :( But you can do an external slave swap if you want.

Yeah, the guy I bought it from said it was in the bowels of everything... But I'm more concerned about my U joints that are clanking and rattling around lol and I think my bearings are going too, I can hear them whining as I drive :P
