Alot of people ask why i run 17's, they say a 15 and 16 usually weigh less. which is true. i run 17's becuz i like the look. ive had thoughts of running 18's but the tire would be to small for where i live

Glad you lost the 17s. The del Sol shouldn't go bigger than 16s and really should hang around 15" IMO.

The stock white for the del Sol is teh sex!

I personally think my 17's looked damn sexy on my car.. no way i would go any bigger. The 17's IMO were perfect

anything with a D-Series shouldn't go any higher than 15's unless they are lightweight, then 16's would be ok.

gotrice93
05-13-2009, 04:32 PM
17's on a d series is fine :P

they look good, but they are heavy and the D doesn't have allot of torque

gotrice93
05-13-2009, 05:23 PM
anything with a D in it should be all show because they have no go PERIOD.

That's why God invented TURBOS! :lawl: A boosted D series will "go" juuuust fine.

tmart24
05-13-2009, 09:12 PM

gotrice93
05-13-2009, 09:31 PM
H22 in the del Sol is going to be a tough mod. It might fit easily but the weight is going to be a problem. he would be better doing a b18

Bmer89
05-13-2009, 09:37 PM
^^^ He's right. The least weight hanging off the front wheels the better. Solution? Mid-engine it! :D Yes it has been done before, I've browsed through two mid-engine del Sol build threads.

gotrice93
05-13-2009, 09:40 PM
i posted a thread on here were the guy did a rear engine del sol and he put a boosted h22 in it. he did a lot of fabrication

tmart24
05-13-2009, 09:41 PM
