if i got actual carbon fiber smoked stealth lights would that be ricey?
mmm... yes, anything not OEM kinda leans that way.

im saying No! i think aftermarket taillights and headlights arent ricey. i think big wings and body kids are. unless the wing is on a rear wheel drive car.

they kinda match the design of my headlights too
Those look kinda cool. I guess it depends how many mods are done under the hood. A car with modifications to the headlights and nothing else is considered ricey.

Maybe its the pic but that looks like fake carbon to me, if thats the case I would put it in the fail boat and send it out to sea...
I didn't look close enough. I see the carbon weave now :/ They looked more blackhoused. You should just black house your lights Jonboy.

yea i dont know what the fuck to do, im so stuck on my car. i wanna go with a lot of boost but then it will take another season to finish everything else, or i could just swap out the stock 2.4 and then do my suspension, tranny, bodywork and replace all the worn out shit to make it a brand new car. but then again i could make it a lightwight, NA, syrup sippin, monster. im so confused on which direction to go, its turning out to be an extremely versitle car and if i dont figure it out before i start makin money this summer, im sure ill end up wasting a lot of it. no im not about to break down over it. who would be a big enough pansy to get emotional over their car. not me i like football and guns. yea i agree, smoked lights. im ok, dont worry. good call erik
I say no to the tails, they don't look like real carbon fiber. Plus I haven't heard of many things to be made of carbon fiber that cost anything close to 190 new. Rather than struggle with what you want to do with the engine, think about what you want the car to do and what you'll be doing with it. And I do mean be realistic about it since in a perfect world we would rather have our car be a track only car or what have you. Also keep in mind theres more things that go along with turbo to, plus your putting a lot more wear on other things. Personally I would go with the suspension, transmission, bodywork and brand new attempt, sounds more logical to me.

Spending on brakes and suspension FTW. I would get that done before I added power....

yea im thinkin ill do a stock rebuild on my 2.4 in the dads shop then do everything else. plus that 2.4 with all my bolt on i have already, and yes they do all swap over, will give me a little extra hp, but a whole lot more torque and my cars already pretty quick. my 2.0 is going out anyway
Sounds like a better idea to me, so the 2.4 is a direct bolt in? Do you have to swap ecus or anything?

its a complete bolt except for the passenger motor mound, but i already got the adapter. it also uses the same injectors, but a higher fuel pressure, which i already have the new fpr. then i have to move the injector pins down one rung, swap the #2 and #3 spark wires, and lastly put my cams in it for a little more high end power. but an option to make things easier is also to use alternator brackets and water inlet neck of a pt cruiser. those are all i need after i get the block checked for cracks, then get the crank cleaned and new rings and bearings. the head i have in brand new

I had those tails on my Neon like 2 or 3 years ago, but they were the black housed ones. and the CF looks super fake when you see em up close. I say go for the export tails from Europe- thems sexy

i hate "altezza" style lights. They all look fake to me.
My word of advise, is do what you want to do. Don't let anyone else's "opinion" influence they way that you style your car. It's all about how you like your car. Nobody else is going to drive it everyday. If you like it, do it.
Haters are going to hate no matter what
so you're putting altezza tail lights on a neon?
totally lost, bro.

Those EDM lights look good. As for the altezzas, the only ones I've seen that I liked, they were smoked so dark that you couldn't tell they were altezzas until the driver hit the brakes. They were about as dark at Jet Black's tails.
those are defiantly different
they don't look very defiant at all.
i forgot DSM was a valid brand in other parts of the world.
