I bet they were a bitch to remove!!

yeah we had to use a special gun that heats the bolt and allows you to take em out. its good on heads that are close to stripping or corrosion bolts

Yeah i figured some kind of special tool would be needed to break them suckas loose. Heat always does the trick. I got a small oxygen/actelyne welding set up for heatin shit up for the same reason.

LOL, yeah from the pics you gotter up there pretty high. But at least i see you got a jack stand under there and not just a jack.

yeah plus made it so the jack could be used to lower the tranny and lift it

Hell yeah. I've swapped a decent amount of motors and trannies, since i've been screwin around on Hondas and not once have i ever pulled one out the top. Always from the bottom with a jack.

yeah this is what i use to swap motors now. I picke it up off craigslist for 250 bucks. It's a 4500 lbs phenumic, air, lift. You just hook up a line from your air compressor and up she goes.

thats bad ass. in our body shop we have a little hydrallic lift that we can roll around it fits under cars perfect it works amazing for doing work on rocker panels

Yeah it works pretty good , but if the cars too low i still gotta use a couple jacks to make room for it to fit under. I wish i had a hydro lift though, someday when i get a shop i sure as hell will.

yeah i plan on buying two when i get done with school and start making some money. i want to put one in the shop part for body work then i want one in the paint boot just makes it easier. thats my plan atleast. i gotta make money for them first.

Hell yeah . I got a diving tank that i use to lift it when my compressor isn't handy, like when i'm at my storage unit. But for the price it was a steal. Also it can go higher but as you can see not much cause then it would be sittin on the frame of the car instead of the rear tires
Eh at least the clutch kinda came out in one piece, very impressed with the broken spring. When I did my clutch in the Jetta half the clutch looked like a rats nest the other half had pieces of the disc ripped off the clutch disc, it looked sweet.
