So after talking about getting a swap/building my civic with new wheels and HIDS, and paint and other crap, I bought a bug. I have always wanted one since my dads 31st bug, of which he has had 34 total. I couldn't resist the deal, and it was right next to my house, so for $620 here it is. It's all stock for now, but I got some cool plans for it in the near future :) Enjoy

Yeah for the most part it runs pretty well, it has been overheating after a while of driving so I gotta look into that, and its leaking oil, quite a bit too. But I am almost positive my dad has a 2.0 porsche motor at his house that will drop right in, so if he does plan on that!! It has alot of little problems that need to be addressed as well, the tranny pops out of 1st gear real bad, the key is broke off in the ignition, seats could use some work, the battery also dies after awhile too, I am almost positive its the alternator/generator, and there is one cancer spot I need to get to pretty quickly, other than what i have mentioned above, it is really straight and like I said, I couldn't pass up the deal.

As of Saturday Feb 7th, the bug has been primered black, like I wanted it. Almost 7 hours to sand and paint, yes it did come out pretty clean, for those who doubt me I will get some pics soon. Anywho, just figured I would keep up the status of it so far, later.

Yeah I got the rear bumper off, I haven't messed with it in along time, so this weekend I will probably work on it, finish painting it, pull the front bumper, new running boards, and new carpet. I want a stereo for it too, but that comes later...
