^were they true twin turbo's. my friend had one that all he had done was chipped and exhaust and he did 0-60 in 4.2 seconds.
300zx's are either slow as piss or fast as fuck. they range from crappy beat down NA no power automatics, to twin turbo 6 spds that haul ass.
hard telling.

I don't remember the car specificly when that video was made there was 50 to 100 car nights fairly consistently so knowing about one car was difficult unless it was yours or your friends

Those GTOs looked like gramma cars but they packed 425hp, in their base model engine. 4200 pound car though.
The sn95 Mustang GTs (1997-2004, I think) topped out at 225hp (the new V6 has 215hp). Many of the old 5.0's were really weak (some only had 140hp) and had rear end gears that were designed for gas mileage, rather than power. Sad, really. Like 2.75 gears. I have 3.55's stock and the next step up from there are 4.10's. So that guy's 5.0 driveshaft may have turned 2.75 times for every one turn of the tires. Mine turns 3.55 times for every one tire rotation, giving me huge torque, compared to him, and I'm starting out with a 50% more powerful engine.
Stupid EPA regs.

Why yes this is true about the GT's, Becasue they are heavier. THe LX's were quicker. But I still love the fox body GT 5.0 hatch more than anything.

You mean step down, lower gears have higher numerals.
What rear axle do you have? That surprises me that you can't get a 3.73 gear ratio. Well, a 4.10 (4.11 depends on the axle) is better for drag racing anyways.

Going by the Moser aftermarket axles, they appear to have an 8.8 rear for 05+. I had and 8.8 in my 96 F-150 4x4 Offroad package. It came with a 3.73 gear ratio from the factory. You can find the 3.73 gears for the rear if you really wanted to.

You can get 3.73's but from what I have heard, there is almost no difference in 1/4 mile time and no "butt-dyno" increase. I have the 8.8 in the Mustang, also, with 3.55's. Someday, I'll swap to the 4.10 but not this year, probably.
