Alright so I finally am making a build section for my corolla. Right now it is nothing special....

As you can see. I am hoping that some time in the next week or so I can get the body work and paint done. As of right now Its just going to be flat red since I have a bunch of flat red cans. Eventually It will most likely go black. The only plans I really have for the car right now is to get it low. I am ordering Tokico Blues in the near future and I am figuring out what springs I am going to need to run. I am completely new to Toyota so it is an experience. I have to say I completely dig the car. Its the perfect cruiser and even right now I can get it sideways if that is what I feel like doing. Anyways Here are a few more pictures of the engine bay before and after the head gasket job...

Right now I only plan on fixing it up. Mainly the body and suspension. I just picked up a 5m with tranny tonight from Dustin. (Thanks again by the way!) I am considering that swap but there is only one guy that I know of doing the swap and its taken over 2 years and counting. I think if i do anything ill throw a 20 valve in it.

So its been a while since I have updated any of my threads. I was planning on just building up the Talon before I got to the Corolla, but I am getting sweet deals on parts.

Anyways I have some new parts that will be getting installed here in the next few weeks or whenever I have the time of money.

New parts include,

Double round headlight conversion
Supra wheels
Full 5 speed conversion

When I get around to doing the installs I will snap off some pictures of the progress and post them up.

After all is said and done it will def look a lot better.

Keep on the lookout for new pics and what not.

20v is a good motor :D perfect for that light of a car.

Not saying the 5m wouldn't be cool...i think the added weight wouldnt be offseted by the more torque. not to mention reliability issues with an M motor.

Yeah I steered away from the 5m a while ago. Now I either want to go 20 v or 4age with itb's and turbo. Either way it will be a while until that happens. I'm starting to work on the talon.

At this point I had to hurry up and get all
the major body pieces on so I could get too tattmatts (red MKIII supra) before it got dark so I could get help with the wiring. I can't wire at all lol. So this last picture is of the finished product.

I am just painting the bay. I'll respray the exterior silver and when I cage it the cage will be red. The hood will probably stay white. I painted the bay for a WTF factor. There are a few more surprises going on with it between working on the Talon and keeping my Mazda from catching fire again.

I know. They take forever sometimes. When it broke I lost steam on working on cars and didn't touch it. Then I start buying parts and got a lot purchased but then had some crazy stuff happen and ended up switching jobs. Now I male less money and all the money I had saved went to a new camera and fixing my Mazda. It sucks being so close but so far away on the project but I'm still motivated so it'll be done soon. I just need to make some cash again. Ill post something with my parts list Soon and maybe some update pix
