The East Meets West Meet is coming upon us fast, which means, we need to get things rolling on who is still going to make it. The meet is on June 6th, and June 7th in Chelan, Washington. Events that are planned for the day are a big BBQ, camping, cruises, and getting to know everyone who comes out. You can view all of the details of the NWTuner East Meets West Meet here. The pages are lengthy but, we are filling campsites in blocks of 15 per people per campsite. If you are interested in camping, that decreases the cost to $4.05 per person. You may send your money by clicking the link below, be sure it include your username on the boards.

Keep an eye on the thread, as the blocks fill up we may even be able to discount the price per person further. Sign up on the boards if you aren’t a member yet, if you are, get your money in soon to be sure you have a camping spot! This will be a great event. If you are in the Northwest Tuning community, feel free to post about this event and share the link to the thread on the forums.

Add yourself to the attendance list, just follow this url, East Meets West Signup, sign up and then add yourself to the event. Once you are added you can see how many others are going as well.

It started out as a cold and extremely foggy Washington morning. We were expecting about 15 or so people and their cars to be meeting at Black Pearl teriyaki, noodle, and bubble tea, in Bellingham. Eddi and I ended up getting there late, as expected. We pulled up to be surprised to see around 25 to 30 people had taken to the parking lot of Black Pearl. For this area, it was a great turnout. Even Mark, in his project BMW all the way from Tacoma made it out.

We all introduced ourselves, took a peek at eachothers’ cars, and made a group decision that we were STARVING.

So the group flooded Black Pearl, and we occupied ALL of their tables and seats. It was most likely a first for them.

We stuffed our faces with Vietnamese cuisine and headed out, set for Chuckanut. But as we walked out, the weather couldn’t have been better. SUN was showing, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Perfect conditions, save for the cold.
