We were expecting about 15 or so people and their cars to be meeting at Black Pearl teriyaki, noodle, and bubble tea, in Bellingham. Eddi and I ended up getting there late, as expected. We pulled up to be surprised to see around 25 to 30 people had taken to the parking lot of Black Pearl. For this area, it was a great turnout. Even Mark, in his project BMW all the way from Tacoma made it out.

We all introduced ourselves, took a peek at eachothers’ cars, and made a group decision that we were STARVING.

So the group flooded Black Pearl, and we occupied ALL of their tables and seats. It was most likely a first for them.

We stuffed our faces with Vietnamese cuisine and headed out, set for Chuckanut. But as we walked out, the weather couldn’t have been better. SUN was showing, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Perfect conditions, save for the cold.
